iPhone software update 1.1.2
Troubleshooting Tip
If you are having trouble retrieving your email using Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird or other client, try resetting your password by visiting http://myadmin.cavtel.net.
- Tap Mail from your iPhone's Home screen.
- Tap Gmail.
- Enter your name, your Gmail address, and password in the appropriate fields.
- Tap Save. Now you're done!
If you're running software update 1.1.3, please note that tapping the Gmail button will automatically configure Gmail IMAP. This is not what you want. Here's how to set up POP:
- Tap Mail from your iPhone's Home screen.
- Tap Other.
- Select POP from the tab menu.
- Enter your name, your address, and password in the appropriate fields. The Address field should be your full email address (

- Under Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP), fill in the Host Name field as 'smtp.gmail.com'.
- Tap Save. Now you're done!
If you notice that POP access isn't working properly, please ensure that all your settings are correct by following these instructions:
- From the Home menu, tap Settings.
